Milton Claros Hinojosa, new Public Works Minister

A few days after President Evo Morales took his third term in office, Milton Claros Hinojosa was appointed as head of the Ministry of Public Works, Services and Housing, replacing Vladimir Sanchez Escobar.

The new minister comes from the general management of Servicios de Aeropuertos Bolivianos, SABSA (Bolivian Airport Services), and said that in his new position he will give continuity to the works done so far by his predecessor.

Specifically on telecommunications, he said he will step up efforts for democratization thereof. He added that he will work with the Agencia Boliviana Espacial, ABE (Bolivian Space Agency) to increase the use of Tupac Katari satellite.
