Sale of assets, investments, towers market and VMO, América Móvil objectives for 2015

The plan for divestiture of assets of the conglomerate is very advanced, said its General Manager, Daniel Hajj. However, he stressed that America Movil will continue its investments. He admitted that with the entry of AT&T into the local market, "we will have more competition and we will have a competitor who will invest more, this will force all invest more".

Moreover, Hajj announced the signing of Carlos Slim create a new leasing company infrastructure, which will be independent of América Móvil. To this end, it will spin around 11,000 towers, which allow the incorporation of the company occurs between May and June next.

Also, the General manager admitted that Telcel has already signed a contract with a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). While no further details in this regard, it is worth remembering that Alestra had shown interest in it. Anyway, Hajj added that both the cellular operator and Telmex are in talks with other companies to share their networks.
