Senate unanimously gives preliminary approval to bill on Satellite Industry

Last night the iniciative of the ruling party to declare of interest the Development of the satellite industry and the promotion of the Argentine Geostationary Satellite Plan until 2035.

The project that aims to protect the spatial positions of Argentina, build satellites and develop satellite services, was passed with 44 positive votes after being discussed on Monday at the Committees of Systems, Media and Freedom of Speech and Budget and Treasury where also obtained favorable opinion.

Now it went to the Chamber of Deputies where it could become law next week.
