Group Telemicro would have bought Viva in Dominican Republi

Dominican media entrepreneur, Juan Ramon Gomez Diaz, owner of Telemicro Group, would have undertaken Viva's operation -belonging to Dominican Trilogy through the company  Servicios Ampliados de Teléfonos, S.A. (Satel). The information was disclosed by a person who was part of the transaction, which has not yet been officially informed. Nor the amount involved in the purchase, which has been planned since early 2015 was disclosed.

The multimedia already owns ITelemicro Internacional, Telemicro HD, Telemicro Films, Digital 15, Canal 5, Independencia FM, Primera FM, Mortal FM, La Kalle and this year added Telecentro 13. In addition, it owns the TV cable company Aster.

Trilogy International Partners acquired Vivo in March 2007 on the hands of Centennial Communications for US$80 million.
