In 2020 there will be 4.57 million households with analog TV at region level

Today ends in Mexico, the Spectrum Management Events Week, jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Banco CAF - Development Bank of Latin America. The event included the presentation of the report "Roadmaps for the transition from analogue to digital terrestrial television in Latin America and Jamaica". According to the study, by 2020 digital TV will have a global penetration index of 87%. in Latin America, the process of migration to digital TV will be advanced. However, some 4.57 million households will still receive analogue TV services. Moreover, the penetration of pay TV in the region will reach 50.6% in 2021.
