The company belonging to EPM Telecomunicaciones has launched its WiMax service in Barranquilla, after obtaining coverage of 3,500 clients in the city of Cali, where it started to operate in May 2006. The company explained that the objective is to reduce service costs managing more expansion capabilities. After Cali and Barranquilla, WiMax will reach Medellin.
