Telcel launched its M2M in alliance with Jasper Wireless

Although it had been announced last April, Telcel launched yesterday its M2M platform "Centro de Control Telcel", developed by Jasper Wireless. In December 2010, América Móvil informed that the solution would be used in all its subsidiaries from Latin America, but so far, it is only traded in Mexico.

The company presents the M2M as "the Internet for devices". With the platform is possible to control, measure and manage connections.

Besides the platform, Telcel will promote an environment so those customers willing to launch "machine to machine" services could be in contact with specialized vendors and developers of the segment, such as Ericsson, Cinteriorn, Accenture, Gemalto, Giesecke & Devrient, Numerex, and Oberthur.
