Satellite SES-4 is full operative

SES informed that tests of the satellite SES-4, recently launched to space, came to an end, thus it now holds 100% of its operating capacity.

This satellite, one of the largest of the world, has 52 transponders in C band and 72 transponders in Ku band, and it is located in the 338° East orbit, for which it allows the exchange of Brazil with other regions of the world such as Europe, Middle East and Africa, which is considered as useful for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The SES-4 was launched from the Cosmodrome of Baikonur, Kazakhstan and it will replace the satellite NSS-7.
