Vertiv Survey

12% of operators expect to offer 5G services this year

According to the survey, based on consultations with 100 telecommunications companies, the first services will focus on supporting existing data services (96%). Daniel de Vinatea, Country Manager for the Southern Cone of Vertiv, commented to Convergencialatina that the expectations for Latin America are optimistic, since between 2020 and 2022 the deployments of 5G networks will be developed.
