The members of the Asociación de Telecomunicaciones Independientes de México (ATIM) (Independent Telecommunications Association of Mexico) reported that they will guarantee 2 Mbps connections and access to television content to users unable to meet payment during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cable companies estimate that starting in mid-May, users will appreciate a drop in their income and invited programmers such as Disney, Viacom, HBO, Discovery and PCTV to offer free access for the time the emergency lasts.
