Entel participates in geointelligence research within the framework of Covid-19

The ISCI (Institute of Complex Engineering Systems), a scientific research center that gathers engineers from the University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University have signed a collaboration and knowledge transfer agreement with Entel, with the aim of contributing from the geo- intelligence to the analysis of population mobility in times of pandemic. A team of specialists from Entel Ocean, the company's digital unit, works together with ISCI professionals in the construction and analysis of mobility data.

The first achievement achieved as a result of this alliance is the creation of a dynamic digital platform for public access that shows, through a cartographic viewer, the periodic percentage variation of mobility in the urban area of the Metropolitan Region. The platform is public and can be accessed through covidanalytics.
