Copaco extends broadband service in several districts

The president of the Copaco (Paraguayan Communications Company) Sante Vallese, indicated that the institution is working to expand broadband service in various districts of the country, to connect students. The new locations are Isla Pucú, in the Cordillera department, General Díaz, in Ñeembucú, Carmen del Paraná, in Itapuá and San Carlos del Apa, on the border with Brazil.

"In these localities, they had mobile services, but that is often a service of not very good capacity for the purposes of studying or for teleworking," Vallese said.
