Oi's meeting of creditors to take place on September 8

Judge Fernando Viana, in charge of the judicial recovery of Oi, ruled that on September 8 the general meeting of creditors of the company will be held in order to consider the modifications that are intended to be introduced in the judicial recovery plan, among which the sale of various business units, such as mobile or infrastructure are included.

The meeting will be held at the SulAmerica Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro, which has a capacity for about 3,000 people. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting will be face-to-face given the existing difficulty of holding it virtually, given the large number of creditors (about 55,000) who have the right to participate.
