The Attorney General's Office considered article 7 of the decree creating the Presidential Data Analysis Unit to be unconstitutional. It established the duty of public institutions to allow access to any type of data requested by the Unit. The Attorney General of the Republic argues that the article in question violates the right of informational self-determination and the principle of legal reserve as it is a regulatory norm that UPAD authorizes to access information that can be classified as personal.
