Mavenir buys small cells company ip.access

The amount of the operation was not known. With this acquisition, the Open RAN Mavenir vendor is strengthened in the area of corporate private networks. The firm has already been selected as a provider of 4G and 5G networks for Vodafone Idea in India, Rakuten Mobile in Japan and Dish Network in the United States, with its Open RAN kit.

The British ip.access company was created in 2000 and is based in Cambridge, besides a staff of 80 people in India.
