Lumen expanded its fiber optic network in Mexico

Lumen developed new metropolitan networks with optical technology. Through these investments, it tripled the size of its current footprint and brought fiber connectivity to new locations in three cities, including 45 km metropolitan rings in Guadalajara, 90 km in Monterrey and 100 km in Mexico City.

Lumen's national ring in Mexico is approximately 3,600 km long and is linked by international routes in Monterrey. In addition, the Lumen PAC (Pan-American Crossing) submarine cable system also connects Mexico with the city of Los Angeles, CA in the United States, and Costa Rica and Panama in Central America.
