IFT continues without resolving the Fox Sports case

Yesterday the deadline that the IFT (Federal Telecommunications Institute) gave itself to resolve the situation of Fox Sports in Mexico expired. However, the regulator has not issued any ruling yet.

The order to divest Fox Sports in Mexico is one of the conditions imposed on March 11, 2019 to Disney to allow the acquisition of Fox's assets in the country.

Given the difficulties that the company had for the divestiture of sports channels, the regulator granted it four extensions. The last one was due yesterday.
