Spain authorizes participants to enter the MWC

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior and the GSMA have agreed that all participants of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, including exhibitors, attendees or sponsors, can enter Barcelona to attend the in-person event despite health restrictions.

The measure will allow citizens from outside the European Union, who are currently not allowed to enter, to fly to the Catalan capital from China, the United States or Latin America.

The GSMA will share details of MWC21 Barcelona registrants with Spanish authorities to facilitate their entry to the country.
