MVNO Suma Móvil starts actvities

</p>

The Spanish capital company Suma Móvil announced its start of activities in Peru as the seventh mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) after obtaining a license from the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).

In January, the MTC granted the license to provide services as MVNO for a term of 20 years. Likewise, it has the approval of the Organismo Supervisor de Inversión Privada en Telecomunicaciones (Osiptel) (Supervisory Agency for Private Investment in Telecommunications) and a wholesale agreement with Entel for the use of its radio network nationwide.

The arrival of Suma Móvil in Peru is part of the company's internationalization process in the region, which began with the launch in Colombia in 2018 and its subsequent operations in Chile. Suma will offer 3G/4G cellular service.
