Plintron obtains the MVNO/MVO license to operate in the country

The MinTIC has granted Plintron Colombia SAS a license for virtual mobile telephony, which allows it to offer MVNO/MVO services in the country. This sector in the country has a value of US$ 3.6 billion and is expected to rise to US$ 6.4 billion at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.6% by 2027. Colombian MVNOs are mainly focused on the segment of consumption, valued at US$ 260,000,000; although the business segment is expected to grow 9.3% through 2027 and reach US$ 15 billion.

Plintron is a global provider of end-to-end MVNA/MVNE services with a customer base in more than 28 countries on six continents. With its IoT offer, it is also expected to take advantage of the existing M2M MVO segment in the country which is expected to emerge as the fastest growing segment with a CAGR of 9.9% through 2027.
