The Ministry of Communications has requested an additional credit of US$ 10 million for the Conecta Brasil program, which will be used to expand the offer of free satellite broadband Internet connection in communities in a state of social vulnerability throughout the country, with the support of the National Teaching and Research Network.
The ministry will also allocate part of this credit to carrying out studies and services in the communication area, as part of the second stage of the Connectivity Map and the Rural Connectivity Study, in addition to the control of waste from the Computer Refurbishment Centers.
