Entel has 51.2% of the market but has coverage problems in some areas

Empresa Nacional de telecomunicaciones (Entel) has 51.2% of the mobile telephony market, but the signal still does not meet expectations, compared to Viva and Tigo, which have better coverage than the state one, according to El Diario.

In the case of Entel, in some areas of Viacha the telephony and Internet signal does not meet the expectations of users, while Tigo arrives clearly, and Viva also surpasses the state company, but on an even basis.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of the company, Roy Méndez Soleto, reported that the participation of Entel S.A. In the mobile telephony market, it registered 51.2% at the national level. "In the last year, from 2020 to 2021, according to our data, we have managed to grow 2 percentage points, that is, we grew from 49% to 51.2% at this time," said Méndez Soleto.
