The Board of Directors of the Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (Indotel) (Dominican Institute of Telecommunications) held a meeting with the owners of the different concessionaires of public television broadcasting services, in order to discuss important aspects of the Transition Plan to Digital Terrestrial Television. The transmission transition from analog to digital is expected to start in September and finish in December of this year.
