Government to present bill for semiconductor industry

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) intends to present to parliament a bill that creates an industrial policy for semiconductors for Brazil, with the aim of improving the situation in the face of the current crisis in the sector.

The MCTI minister, Paulo Alvim, recognized that this project is analyzed together with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Economy, and indicated that it could also have the legal form of a Provisional Measure.
