Wayra Hispam invested US$ 3.9 million in Peruvian startups in 11 years

Currently Wayra Hispam, the open innovation hub and corporate fund of Telefónica Movistar, has 13 active startups such as Chazki, Crehana, Joinnus, Fitco, Mapsalud, Imix, among others, and there are 5 companies in its local portfolio that have been sold ('exits') in the Peruvian industry.

In the region, Wayra Hispam presents a portfolio of more than 100 active startups, belonging to 20 diverse verticals such as Fintech, e-Learning, Big Data, Cybersecurity, IA, Logistics, among others. Out of that total, more than 60% of them currently work with Telefónica Movistar in the region. Locally, more than 15 Wayra startups are working with Telefónica Movistar Peru.
