Hacking of Joint Chiefs of Staff investigated

Both the Chilean Vice President, Carolina Tohá, and the Minister of Defense, Maya Fernández, referred to the hacking suffered this week by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They explained that there is a command responsibility, that sensitive Defense information was leaked and that the Government was not informed in time. As a consequence of all this, the resignation of General Guillermo Paiva, in charge of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was accepted. The investigation is still ongoing.
