Claro leads ranking of operators with the fastest mobile service

The average download speed for 4G mobile networks accessed by cell phones in the national territory was 10.90 Mbps in September, with an increase of 1.09 Mbps compared to August, reported the Organismo Supervisor de Inversión Privada en Telecomunicaciones, Osiptel (Supervisory Body for Private Investment in Telecommunications).

This is the highest average speed recorded so far in 2022 and was due to the higher average monthly speed performances achieved compared to August by all operating companies, Entel (14.1%), Claro (11%) , Movistar (10.8%) and Bitel (1.8%).

According to the Mobile Internet Monitoring Panel, Claro led, for the fourth consecutive month, the average speed for 4G networks with 12.06 Mbps, followed by Entel (11.94 Mbps), Movistar (9.73 Mbps) and Bitel (7.69Mbps).
