A court specializing in telecommunications granted an injunction to Grupo Televisa in its legal battle against the declaration of substantial market power issued by the IFT in 2020.
The court reported that it found flaws and violations in the IFT investigation procedures and ordered it to issue a new resolution with current market data.
The iFT appointed Televisa as an agent with substantial market power in 35 locations in seven states of the Republic in terms of the paid video and audio business.
