The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) published the new Plan for Awad, Destination and Distribution of Frequency Bands in Brazil, for the exploitation of various telecommunications services and in line with the International Table of Frequencies contained in the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
This new plan establishes how the use of radio frequency bands will be in the future, which will allow a rational, economic and efficient use of radio frequencies. The norm replaces 36 rules and revokes another 40 since it directly includes the modifications of the new destinations of the bands.
