Capacity Latam 2023

Angola Cables presents its new company for Latin America TelCables Brasil

The launch took place within the framework of Capacity Latam 2023. The new phase materialized last January, when Cláudio Florindo took over as General Director of the unit.

As Samuel Carvalho, Marketing leader of Angola Cables, told Convergencialatina, TelCables Brasil will operate the infrastructure of the African company through AngoNAP Fortaleza, the Tier III Data Center located in Ceará and the Monet, SACS and WACS submarine cables.

The Monet grid recently underwent an upgrade with technology from Ciena and Infinera, so it is now capable of trafficking data at 400 Gbps.

Added to the company's current presence in Ceará (Fortaleza), São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, TelCables Brasil plans to expand to the Center-West and North of Brazil.
