Movistar's optical fiber is available for 21,000 homes in Cusco and 24,000 in Huancayo.

Movistar has reported that over 21,000 homes in the city of Cusco and more than 24,000 homes in the city of Huancayo now have access to its fiber optic network.

Movistar's plan is to reach a total of 108,000 connected homes in the districts of Cusco, Wanchaq, San Jerónimo, San Sebastian, and Santiago in the Cusco region by the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, the goal for Huancayo is to extend fiber coverage to over 84,000 homes this year in the districts of Huancayo, El Tambo, and Chongos Alto.

The company aims to reach 5 million connected homes in the country by 2026.
