Viasat-3 satellite to start operations in 2024

Satellite operator Viasat reported that despite capacity-limiting issues, the Viasat-3 satellite will begin operations during this year.

The company's CEO, Mark Dankberg, noted that the performance forecast is better than previously imagined, as tests showed maximum downstream rates on consumer terminals of 200 Mbps to 300 Mbps.
