U.S. wants to stimulate semiconductor investments to stay in Mexico

The Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy in Mexico, Mark Johnson, stated that the U.S. prefers semiconductor investments to come to Mexico instead of going to places like Thailand, Malaysia, China, and other locations in Asia.

"It is necessary to work together to overcome the incentives offered by competitors, address industry concerns about clean energy, water, and infrastructure, and build a comprehensive national semiconductor strategy for Mexico," he expressed during his participation in the Semiconductor Collaboration Forum between both nations.
