NAB Show 2024 - Concluded highlighting the weight of AI and the monetization challenge

With a focus on AI and monetization, NAB Show 2024 concluded. Exhibitions showcasing innovations in AI were abundant, highlighting various use cases such as data analytics and video editing, among others.

However, the necessary technological upgrade clashes with the needs for monetizing existing investments and prospective cash flows in the pipeline.

At NAB Show, the reality of a tough economic environment due to inflation and high-interest rates was discussed, which increases the cost of Capex applications, in addition to declining revenues in linear TV and elusive streaming revenues.

In light of this situation, there was a proliferation of solutions for remote production, aimed at minimizing the need for on-site equipment and personnel, as well as cross-platform advertising sales to generate revenue for the new platforms.
