According to a new study by Ookla, average download speeds in the Caribbean increased by 25% year-over-year between the first quarter of 2024 and the second quarter of 2025.
The report added that the number of countries recording download speeds above 100 Mbps rose from four to ten over the same period.
Guadeloupe topped the rankings with an average download speed of 246.32 Mbps in Q2 2025, more than double the 120.67 Mbps recorded at the start of the study period. Martinique and Puerto Rico round out the group of top-performing countries.
