The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) reported that as of today, the 3.5 GHz band has been released in 220 municipalities across the country, where 5G technology can now be activated.
With this measure, there are now 3,898 municipalities across the country where the 3.5 GHz band is available for this new technology, providing coverage for approximately 186.5 million Brazilians, which corresponds to around 87.4% of the country's population, with 12 states having all their municipalities cleared.
