The operator Sky has finalized the first acquisitions of fiber optic Internet provider companies, with the acquisition of Netsulminas (present in 4 cities in the state of Minas Gerais) and Level Link, which operates in Fortaleza and Caucaia, in the state of Ceará.
In this way, Sky will have its own infrastructure of fiber-connected households, as until now its fixed broadband service was provided by neutral networks.
Regarding this, Sky's Commercial and Operations vice president, Sergio Ribeiro, pointed out that "entering the fiber market is part of Sky's transformation process to become a relevant player in the broadband market".
