Reorbit prepares to open new branch in Asia

The Finnish company, headquartered in Helsinki, has branches in Sweden, Argentina, and soon in Asia. Carlos Pedalino, VP of Product and Director of Business for Latam, explained that their GEO, LEO, and MEO missions "require flexibility and serve different purposes; the satellite needs to adapt to various missions with low cost, flexible and modular platforms, and software adaptable to different missions."

Additionally, the executive highlighted satellite-to-satellite communication as a clear upcoming trend: "There is a growing demand today to have real-time data and images, especially for security purposes."

ReOrbit architectures include laser terminal management. "We can perform Data Relay from GEO to LEO and obtain real-time data and images of the territory," he added.
