CFE to manage Altán Redes

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, revealed that the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) (Federal Electricity Commission), through CFE Telecomunicaciones e Internet para Todos (CFE TEIT), will be in charge of managing Altán Redes. from the government of Claudia Sheinbaum.

“Altán is already majority owned by the Mexican State and will be managed by the CFE. This company is the one that ensures that electricity reaches all homes and now it will have the purpose of supplying Internet service to all homes,” said López Obrador during his morning conference on Monday.
