Canieti requested that the telecommunications regulatory body be autonomous

During the 2024 National Convention of Canieti (National Chamber of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry), Enrique Yamuni Robles, president of the organization, emphasized the importance of maintaining the autonomy of the telecommunications regulator to ensure its independence.

At the same event, Javier Juárez Mojica, president commissioner of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT), stated that the most important aspect is to keep the regulatory body with "technical and legal strength".
