Paul Jacobs, CEO of Globalstar, stated that the operator is already working on building a new LEO satellite constellation for Apple. Apple will have rights to 85% of the network capacity of this new constellation for its services.
"Regarding work on the new satellites (intended for Apple), this takes a reasonably long period of time. We’re already working on it, but we haven’t provided any details on who (will build the satellites) or where we are in the progress,” he said in a conversation with analysts following the presentation of their quarterly results.
