Stopping the IFT-12 Tender by arguing that the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) will disappear is not valid, said Jesús Romo, an analyst at the consulting firm Global Data and an expert in telecommunications.
The expert assured that, on the one hand, the decisions made by the IFT before its disappearance are valid and have legal force. On the other hand, he indicated that the tender for 5G was discussed at length with the previous administration and is done with the same rules that Congress approved after Claudia Sheinbaum took office.
