Miriam Aquino, director and founder of Telesintese, has passed away

Yesterday morning, journalist Miriam Aquino passed away in Brasília. She was the executive director and co-founder, along with Lía Ribeiro, of the telecommunications-focused portal Telesintese.

Several members of Convergencialatina had the opportunity to meet Miriam at various events held in Brazil, where they witnessed her outstanding professional ability, as well as her camaraderie, support, and joy that she always shared with her fellow journalists, even those from other countries.

Today is a day of mourning for the Brazilian and Latin American specialized telecommunications journalism community, which will no longer be able to enjoy the company of this exceptional colleague.
