Orange and Telenor join telcos showcasing AI use cases

Orange has implemented 150 use cases through 800 experts and strategic partnerships. At the MWC, the company showcased how integrating AI into its networks enhances the quality, reliability, and predictability of infrastructure. According to the company, AI is key to improving cybersecurity and protecting customer data.

Meanwhile, Telenor and its partners introduced the 5G Solutions Lab, a new testing facility in Gothenburg. This lab leverages AI to drive predictive maintenance, aiming to provide a comprehensive service for customers and partners seeking to optimize industrial operations.

The new lab features 5G drones, 5G autonomous vehicles, and Edge AI. The initiative is part of Telenor’s Open Lab testing facilities and complements Telenor IoT’s global connectivity labs in Karlskrona.

Telenor’s partners include Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Red Hat, Intel, HP, and Nokia.
