The Minister of Communications, Juscelino Filho, will travel tomorrow to the city of Ottawa, Canada, where he will meet with executives from the satellite company Telesat, led by its CEO, Daniel Goldberg.
During the meeting, they will discuss the development of Telesat's LEO constellation to provide services to the corporate sector, with the aim of positioning it as an alternative to the service offered by Starlink, the leader in this segment in the Brazilian market.
The Canadian company plans to have 198 satellites in orbit at an altitude of 1,300 kilometers, for which it has already secured an investment of US$ 3.8 billion.
