The panel “PGMC: Priority, Guarantee, Maturity, and Competition” focused on the revision of Anatel’s General Competition Goals Plan (PGMC), aimed at promoting competition in the sector. The plan identifies groups with Significant Market Power and recommends regulatory measures. Cristiane Sanches, representing Abrint, highlighted that the current PGMC revision seeks to adapt to new market dynamics, including the incorporation of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and spectrum regulation.
She emphasized the need to ensure predictability and deregulation in certain areas for small providers, who, she stated, “need fair conditions to compete.”
