Alexandre Freire to lead drafting of New Spectrum Use Regulation

The board member of Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), Alexandre Freire, has been appointed as the rapporteur for the new Radiofrequency Spectrum Usage Regulation (RUE).

The last update to this regulation was in 2016, and the proposed modifications were submitted for public consultation between 2023 and 2024.
