Eutelsat is in talks with investors to raise €1.5 billion with the aim of expanding its LEO satellite constellation, Bloomberg reported.
The satellite operator is in discussions with the French government, the Fonds Stratégique de Participations investor, the shipping company CMA CGM, and the UK government to secure the funding.
If completed, the French government’s current 13.6% stake in Eutelsat could increase to 30%.
