Claro led mobile subscriber growth in May

Mobile number portability reached 595,480 lines, representing a 13.1% increase in portings compared to May 2024. The operators that achieved positive net portings were Claro, with 18,232 lines, and Entel, with 622 lines. Meanwhile, Movistar, Bitel, Guinea Mobile, and Flash recorded net losses of 13,636, 5,860, 19, and 13 lines, respectively.

In fixed-line telephony, portability reached 1,683 lines in May 2025, a 7.2% decrease compared to May 2024. Claro, GTD Perú, Entel, and Win Empresas were the top gainers with 471, 153, 87, and 71 net ported lines, respectively. Movistar had the highest net negative balance with 689 fixed lines lost, followed by Convergia with 145.
