The government has achieved its announced goal by issuing blocking orders for more than 1.5 million high-risk mobile devices. These devices were not on the whitelist of the National Registry of Mobile Terminal Equipment for Security and were linked to individuals who repeatedly used phones with invalid or cloned IMEIs.
